B.1 - Moving On Along

Oh dear . . . It seems I've waited almost two months for an update. And RIGHT after the heir vote! *ducks rotten veggies* There were good reasons for my absence, I swear! And not entirely because I got distracted on a Burn Notice marathon . . . *shifty eyes*

ANYWAY.

The winner of the vote was the baby of the family, Bambi. The triplets still have a couple days until their birthdays, but I played right up to the wire with Ben. So, to start us off, let's have Ben's transition to young adult!

"Most" of the family was excited for him.

EDWARD - Congratulations son!

BAMBI - WOOOOOO BIRTHDAY!

BOLT - Wat? I'm confused, what's going on?

After the sparkles . . . HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! . . . No.   >:[

BEN - I iz teh awesomez, rite?

BELLE - Wow, just . . . wow. There really are no words.

There we are, that's MUCH better. I present the grown-up Ben Disney, who rolled the Dog Person trait and received the Robot-Creature Crossbreeder lifetime wish.

Directly after the cake, Edward made his way over to the newest item in the Disney household. A_Niles (aka Ashley) was SUPER SUPER SUPER nice and bought the choco-fountain for me!! <3

I'm not entirely sure my sims can be trusted with it . . .

EDWARD - Sweet, succulent chocolate goodness . . . .

. . . but it stays in the dining room for now.

In the background you can see Ben waiting for something? What, you ask?

Not what, but who! He wasted no time in inviting his girlfriend Tink Fae over to the house, also freshly young adult-ified.

Ben greets her at the door with a hearty handshake. *eye roll*

Then I had them take a romantic photo together because I'm a sap and I love the interaction. Then he invited her inside.

Ben had a wish to mind meld with Tink, though she doesn't seem too entirely sure about the process. I'm not entirely sure that it accomplished anything, either. Oh wells.

Enough of that nonsense, on to the romantic spam!

Of course in preparation for Ben to pop The Question.

BEN - Marry me, Tink!

TINK - *gasp!*

BUTLER-DENNIS - *mono-toned* Jolly good show, Master Ben. Congrats.

BEN - Thanks for photo-bombing my engagement, Dennis. Thanks a lot.

Ignoring family butlers who are dead inside, Ben and Tink went ahead and had themselves a private little ceremony right there in the foyer.

And then I had Ben move in with Tink and her family. The both of them left shortly afterward. It was only after that, that I remembered I hadn't painted his portrait yet.

DANG IT.

A little hot-tub distraction from Bolt and Bambi while Aurora calls Ben back to the house.

Luckily he was more than willing to stop by for a visit, despite the fact that he'd only left an hour before. Aurora got right to work on his portrait.

EDWARD - Hai son! I really missed you!

BEN - Dad, I've only been gone for an hour. But Dennis is still passing out on the floor, I see. It's nice to know that some things never change.

--in an hour's time.

I let Ben stick around for the evening until the portrait was done, just to make sure Aurora got it right. He joined his dad with a book, while Dennis tried to get rid of his tired moodlet with cup after cup of Joe.

Unsuccessfully.

AURORA - I'm so happy that you got married, Ben! Even if it was right in the house, not even bothering to let me know that it was happening so that I could witness it. It's not like I carried you in my womb for 3 whole sim days and then raised you to be the man you are today. You don't really owe me anything in return, after all. I mean, what are mothers good for anyway.

BEN - Um . . . thanks?

Despite Aurora's passive-aggressive agitation, she managed to complete Ben's portrait successfully, and it joins the others in the basement.

If the greenish hue of the past few shots didn't clue you in, this will alert you that it's a full moon. And this stupid Zombie ate both of the plants.

You SUCK Zombie!

BELLE - Hey, so . . . mom finished your portrait. That means you can GTFO, kay?

BEN - Wow, harsh Belle.

Belle 'politely' asked Ben to go back home to his new bride. Those babies won't make themselves, after all. :D

I really like this shot of the triplets. Their expressions are very indicative of their natures. Belle brave and assertive, Bambi smiling happily and Bolt being two seconds away from a mental melt-down.

That night my ghostly founder Walt was forced to deal with his own Zombie problem.

WALT - Ew Zombie! Do not want!

Ella also came out to haunt, though she spent all her time on the game system.

Aurora? What's with the look?

AURORA - I just got the notification that my elder birthday is coming soon. I don't want to be old! I'M TOO PRECIOUS TO GROW OLD AND DIE!

Unfortunately that's just part of the gig, sweetie.

Bambi was out in the predawn hours catching fire-flies and ignoring the still-cavorting zombies.

The next day Ben and Tink both officially graduated high school. I happened to be near the City Hall and caught them exiting with their caps and gowns. As you can see from the purple hair, most of Tink's family was there.

This snazzy elderly gentleman is actually Aladdin! He grew into an elder! My A generation is on it's way out! I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that . . . .

The reason I was near City Hall was because I knew a certain someone would be getting his final promotion!

With a lot of dignity and little fanfare, Edward became the Leader of the Free World, officially assuming the title of King of Hidden Springs.

Point!

Back home, I plopped down a few fun objects in the mostly empty basement, as well as some work out equipment. Bolt and Belle tried out the ping-pong table.

Edward entertained Butler-Dennis with a funny cat video, even though the screen is actually the children's tv channel . . . .

Your cat videos are lies, E.A. ALL LIES!

Butler-Dennis finally got around to fixing the busted computer.

Just in time for Edward to start on his autobiography for an opportunity. The aptly titled, 'Growing Up Royal.'

I had Bolt mess around with this . . . thing. I really don't know what it does, so I have no idea if it accomplished anything. It didn't fry his brain at least, so. Silver lining.

Bambi was out back, fishing as always.

And when he wasn't fishing, he was reading up about fish. There's a reason for that, but we'll get to it later.

Belle gets in some more game time, while dad continues to write. They triplets have the weekend to get through before their shared birthdays on Monday.

Bolt spends the time snorkeling (in the pool because reasons), as this was just after I installed Island Paradise.

That night brought another visitation by Walt. He's definitely the more active ghost by far. He decided to put the new outdoor sauna equipment to some good use.

Playing with the rubber ducky . . . so precious. Never change, Walt. Never change.

BOLT - This is ridiculous! I was supposed to be heir! This baby equipment should be for MY babies!!!1!11

Now now, Bolt. Don't be bitter. I started renovations on a downstairs bedroom to become the nursery, and for some reason Bolt decided to throw a fit over the changing table . . .

Edward randomly gives speeches before his carpool arrives. His 'don't make me slap a b*tch' expression completes my soul.

Aurora is busy in front of the easel most days, earning extra cash with her paintings. And from Edward's thought-bubble there in the background, it should be apparent where their priorities are headed. Both of them have wishes for grandbabies.

Lucky for them, it was (FINALLY) time for the triplets to have their YA birthdays! Since Bolt and Belle were stuck at after-school activities, Bambi gets to go first for once.

Mom, Dad and Butler-Dennis--as well as a random teen townie that came home from school with him--help celebrate.

And BAMF! I give you the heir to Generation B, Bambi Disney! I gave him the Angler trait, and his official lifetime wish is to have the Perfect Aquarium. This involves having a certain amount of perfect fish on the lot. I've never tried this lifetime wish, so it should be an adventure for us both.

After the other two got home, it was Belle's turn to step up to her cake.

And all too soon transitioned into a very pretty young adult, rolling the Hot-Headed trait. Her lifetime wish of Rock God was already locked in.

And finally, the eldest of the three gets ready to blow out his candles.

Successfully, Bolt becomes a young adult. Rolling the Ambitious trait, with the Master Magician lifetime wish already locked.

I opted to do Belle's portrait first. With her Commitment Issues trait, I decided not to marry her off myself. I'll let story-progression take care of that if it's in the cards. For now, she got a job in the Music career and then moved out on her own.

But though the Disneys lost a member, they also gained one. Introducing the first pet of this Alphabetacy, Pluto Disney!

I am a goober. :P

Pluto is Friendly, Loyal and Playful.

Since he joined in the middle of the night, the first order of business for the precious pooch was an adorable-looking nap.

Bambi was out shore-side bright and early, getting more fishing in. I'll have to look up the details of how best to get perfect fish, but for now he's just focusing on leveling the skill.

Meanwhile Bolt introduced himself to the newest cutie.

At least until this cutie showed up. Freshly grown up, I give you Elaine Shue. She grew up into that hair and dress and I loved it, so I let her keep it.

I'd just managed to Greet her before she interrupted my actions to Smooch Bolt. I'm tellin you, Elaine loves her some Bolt Disney. No joke.

Luckily Bolt is just as infatuated with her. ^_^ It's meant to beeeeeeeeeeee.

After going back and forth with romantic interactions, Bolt was finally ready to ask her to marry him.

On the front porch, in front of the mailbox. Because we like to keep things classy around here.

The private ceremony immediately followed. After Aurora got started on his portrait and I was sure it would turn out okay, Bolt and his new bride were shuffled off into their own home. To hopefully get started on some green-skinned grandchildren.

Well, that's pretty much it for this update. I'll leave you with some adorable Pluto shots . . . .

VERY adorable . . .

And Bambi's new 'baby,' his own car (Jeep).

Next time Bambi will join his brother in marital bliss, and perhaps we'll hear some baby jingles? Join us to find out! As always, thanks for reading and happy simming!
