Generation B Heir Vote - CLOSED!

((Scroll to the bottom for the final results! :D ))

Here it is! We've come to the heir vote of our Generation B! Let's get right to our candidates :

First up we have the eldest of the brood, Ben Disney!

Ben is a Light Sleeper who Loves the Cold, is a Genius and also a Night Owl. He enjoys Hip Hop music, Mac n Cheese and the color Red

He's already rolled his Lifetime Wish which is, unsurprisingly, to become a Robot-Creature Crossbreeder in the Science career.

Ben's potential spouse is the fairy, Tink Fae.

Next up we have the first-born of a set of triplets, Bolt Disney!

Bolt is a Neurotic, Light-Sleeper Vegetarian who also has a knack for being a Gatherer. He enjoys Roots music, Potato-Truffle Torte and the color Irish Green.

Bolt has also rolled his Lifetime Wish (three times before I finally gave in and locked it) which is to become a Master Magician, thus entering the Magic profession.

Bolt's potential spouse is the green-skinned Elaine Shue.

Next on the list is middle-born, Belle Disney!

Belle is a Brave, Ambitious Virtuoso who has a touch of the Commitment Issues. She enjoys Egyptian music, Pumpkin Pie and the color Turquoise.

Belle also rolled her Lifetime Wish fairly early on, which is to become a Rock God. Thus she'll be heading into the Music career track.

Her potential spouse is Bobby Moore, though whether or not she'll actually marry him (or stay faithful) remains to be seen.

And finally we have the baby of the family Bambi Disney!

Bambi is an Excitable Loner who Loves the Outdoors and is Family Oriented. He also loves Egyptian music along with Stu Surprise and the color Lavender.

Bambi has yet to roll a Lifetime Wish. I'm not entirely sure what his future holds, but if he's chosen as heir I'm sure we'll be able to come up with something. :P

Bambi's potential spouse is the spunky Jessica Shue.

Well there we have it! Do you have a favorite? Do you need to roll some dice or flip a coin? Either way, help me decide who gets to carry on this Disney-themed Alphabetacy! The poll can be found on the right-hand side of this blog, so get to clicking and good luck!

RESULTS!

Wow, I can honestly say that I did not expect the outcome of this vote. O_o

Our winner and the heir to the B Generation of Wishing Upon a Star is . . . Bambi Disney! I honestly thought it would be a fight between Ben and Bolt, I really had no idea Bambi had that many fans. I guess people love the butterflies? Lololol

Our official final standings were as follows :

Ben - 12 (his fans put up a noble fight)

Bolt - 7

Belle - 3 (somewhat surprised she got even this many, poor Belle :P )

Bambi - 16

A total of 38 people voted, thank you so much for the support! <3

Stay tuned for the continuation of the Disneys and the start of our next generation! Probably in a chapter or two though, as I believe the trips still have about a sim-week left in their teen stage. Until then, happy simming!

A.6 - Snow Day is Love Day!

Here it is, guys! The last chapter before our B Gen heir vote! Are you excited? Cause I'm excited. XD I really have NO idea who's gonna win this, so it'll be very interesting to see how the vote pans out. But first!

It's Snow Day in Hidden Springs and the Disneys decide to spend it at the Winter Festival.

Aurora and Edward both immediately rolled wishes to go ice skating, so that's where I sent them. Much slipping and falling and laughing (on my side of the screen) was had.

Bolt rolled the wish to go snowboarding, so he went and BOSS-ed it up on the half-pipe.

While Bambi, Belle and Ben all got into a snowball fight, along with a random townie. Poor Bambi just took one to the face. Ouch.

Suddenly I realized that a certain blonde, green-skinned cutie had arrived all on her own . . .

Thus Bolt got yanked off the snowboarding pipe to socialize.

BOLT - Uh . . . h-hi Elaine!

ELAINE - Hey Bolt.

BOLT - Listen, I'm . . . I-I'm really sorry about not paying attention to you when we were kids. That was pretty mean. But I was just a stupid kid then, so . . . c-can you forgive me? Maybe?

*both decide the other is 'hot' *

ELAINE - Hmm . . . I think I could be persuaded to forgive and forget. ^_~ *Butler-Dennis was totally right!*

Meanwhile Elaine had arrived to the festival with her sister Jessica in tow. Bambi and Jess had been best-friends ever since elementary school, and recently Bambi was thinking about taking their friendship to the next level . . .

Kind of like what his brother Bolt was doing behind him.

BOLT - Elaine, w-would you be my girlfriend? Pretty please?

ELAINE - *giggle* Sure, Bolt. It's not like I've been planning for this ever since 2nd grade or anything . . .

Looks like Bambi was pretty successful in wooing his best-friend too. :D Go Bambi!

Taking it as a sign from above, I had Belle call her crush and invite him out to the festival as well. This here is Bobby Moore. His mouth has a weird shape but I'm hoping he'll grow into it. I like his red hair though. :P

Belle wasted no time in singling Bobby out as soon as he arrived. In the background you can see Edward still on the skating rink. He's refused to leave it . . . .

Since they were already good friends and Belle's Brave, I had her just go for it.

Bobby was quite receptive to her advances. Woot woot! 4/4 Disney teens have their romantic interests locked in!

Not to be left out, I had Ben invite Tink out but it looks like she got saddled with babysitting her youngest brother Fig.

That meant no romance-timez for Ben, but they still got to hang out with each other at least.

What was our heiress up to during all this, you ask? Fulfilling all sorts of snow-related wishes, such as making Snow Angels.

And getting back on the rink. Edward has skilled up so much that he's skating circles around her and showing off by skating backward even. Sadly I couldn't get the option for them to skate together to show up, for some reason. :(

Belle and Bobby decided to make a snowman together.

BOBBY - Wow . . . that's kinda creepy, babe.

BELLE - I'm much more concerned about this dumb idiot over here who's about to pee himself. Seriously guy, the bathroom is RIGHT over there!

As luck would have it, that night was prom! I'd totally forgotten. So all the kids get switched into their formal-wear for the event.

I love Bambi's suit. I love it SO HARD. You can barely see him, but Bolt is back there on the skating rink now.

I'm also quite attached to Belle's dress, which is CC.

The kids all head off to the school while the parents come back home and hang up their family greeting-card photo! Happy Snow Day from the Disneys!

Aaah, a quiet, uneventful night in for our Gen A heiress and spouse. Aurora's still working on her cooking skill for her LTW, and I believe Edward is reading a book for an opportunity at work.

Meanwhile, at Prom . . . of COURSE they all switched back into their outerwear before they got to the school! *grumblegrumblegrumble*

For some reason Tink didn't show up in Ben's picture! Maybe I forgot to actually invite her . . . oops. XD He had a great time, regardless.

Belle was crowned Prom Queen, and she and Bobby started Going Steady at the dance. For now her Commitment Issues trait seems to be hiding in the background.

Bambi and Jessica also decided to Go Steady while they were at the dance.

And Bolt and Elaine just had a wonderfully good time, as he was eventually crowned Prom King. Though he did mention something about rigging the votes, so . . . .

Someone's been having fun in the snow near Walt and Ella's graves . . . .

Well speak of the devil. Hai Walt! He's apparently getting himself a midnight snack from the outdoor fridge.

BOLT - Brushy brushy brushy brushy . . . .

Obsessively brushing his teeth AND staring out the window? Win/win.

Edward has managed to reach the Governor's position of the political track. Only two more promotions to go!

EDWARD - Aurora will be so happy. Which means I get to be happy. :)

Nah, he's not whipped. Not at allllll. *shifty eyes*

These two teens decided to come home with the kids that afternoon after school. The blonde's name is Elias Ransom, but I can't remember who the dark-haired boy is. He kind've looks like Edward though, which makes me wonder if he's not related to the Vanderburgs somehow.

Belle came home with a wish to write Bobby a love letter.

Then she went outside and kept Elias company while they did their homework on the front porch.

Meanwhile Bambi has joined Edward on what I'm dubbing the Dad-Advice-Couch.

EDWARD - Trust me, son.

BAMBI - Really, dad . . . I like a good hat as much as the next guy but I just don't see how that could get me elected to office?

EDWARD - Never doubt the power of a great fashion accessory.

Edward was moved to post about that little kernel of wisdom and happily received 50 new subscribers to his Royal Reader blog.

Hey look! Ben's doing something other than play with his science machine! He's actually playing chess. XD Way to nerd it up, Ben.

BEN - At least I'm consistent.

Tru dat.

Aurora takes breaks from cramming about cooking to get in some more paintings. Not only is she a self-employed painter, but the painting skill is the one I picked for her to complete the challenges for. She's very, very close to doing so.

Belle had since retreated to her room to practice her guitar, and it seems she's gotten herself a rapt audience. Beeeeeelle? What about Bobby?

BELLE - What about him? I can't help it if I have fans . . .

BELLE - I can't help it at all . . . >:)

Well, turns out that Commitment Issues trait might rear it's ugly head after all . . .

Aurora received a ribbon from city hall for selling over 25k worth of paintings. :D

And this little cutie here is Aladdin and Sabrina's late-in-life baby, Alice Disney! I couldn't resist with her outfit, especially when she inherited gramma Ella's blond hair. She's got daddy's color, but I think they might be Sabrina's eye-shape. Time will tell.

BUTLER-DENNIS - Phew! This stench is unbearable! . . . perhaps a good fluoride treatment will alleviate it!

Um . . . yeah, no. All the brushing in the world isn't going to fix that. For some reason Butler-Dennis refused to take a shower, he just kept going from bathroom to bathroom obsessively brushing his teeth until I finally took pity and used mods to max his hygiene. You'd think if he sleeps on the lot he'd be willing to use the shower . . . :/

Random-Guy is here, so you know what that means! Fund Raiser!

All the guests jammed themselves up on the porch, as usual. *eye roll* Poor Bolt got caught up in the mess (you can see his hair behind the balding guy), and I finally had to teleport him inside before he had an accident.

Luckily they finally managed to figure out how the front door works.

LILY THE WEREWOLF - Booooo! Aurora SUCKS!

AURORA - Listen here, missy, if you don't shut up I will put these heels in a place that heels were never meant to go. >_<

The werewolf teen is still managing to be inappropriate and annoying. And taking her own life into her hands by slandering the Queen in her own home.

I was pleasantly surprised when some of the guests even managed to find their way out to the gazeebo outside--which is actually set up for a party. Bambi decided to go out and join them.

LILY THE WEREWOLF - Hey, guy . . . can I bum a couple simoleons off of you?

BAMBI - Uh, who are you again? O_o

She totally tried to Mooch money off of him, but Bambi was just confused.

Lily eventually gave up, and Bambi went back to rocking out on the dance floor.

Aladdin and Sabrina's other daughter Ariel is already a young adult! One young adult daughter, and one that's a toddler. Talk about an age difference, lol. Ariel turned out quite pretty though.

AURORA - Ugh, I realize Edward needs these fund raisers to help his climb up the political ladder, but they are SO bothersome.

BUTLER-DENNIS - Just so, Your Majesty. I quite agree.

While Edward was going around schmoozing and begging for donations, Aurora and Butler-Dennis were snobbing it up with some books in the foyer.

BAMBI - I dunno Ben, I think I have a shot at the heir vote. What do you think?

BEN - Yah, I think you have a decent shot. You've got the 'cute-factor' going for you.

I think all the kids have a decent shot, personally. I really don't have any idea who's going to pull ahead this time.

Long after all the guests had gone home, Bolt was out back mixing up some drinks. Hey there, aren't you a little young for that mister?

BOLT - Oh, I'm not making them for me.

Oh? Who then?

BUTLER-DENNIS - Sweet plumbobs, I really needed that . . . .

Haha, poor Butler-Dennis.

WAT?! Surprise teen pregnancy?!?!?!

Lolol, nope. I accidentally made him eat a plate of Grilled Salmon, forgetting that he's a Vegetarian.

BOLT - OH GAWD I ate the flesh of another creature! I'll never be the same again! *BLAAAAAAAARRRGGGGHHHH*

AURORA - So, I take it your fund-raiser was successful?

EDWARD - Was there ever any doubt?

AURORA - In you? Never, dear.

These two are still adorably precious in their ego-centric-ness.

Belle was back on her guitar, while Bambi enjoyed one of his grandfather's many, many best-sellers.

Speaking of his grandfather . . . HAI WALT!

WALT - Heyo! :D

WALT - But you live here, don't you? You have your own bedroom. You have free reign over everything else, why wouldn't they allow you to use the showers?

BUTLER-DENNIS - I just don't think it's appropriate!

Walt tries to talk some sense into Butler-Dennis that night on the Dad-Advice-Couch.

BOLT - H-hi Elaine! . . . no, I didn't have anything to tell you, I just . . . I just wanted to hear your voice. *blush*

He seriously rolls wishes for her ALL THE TIME. It's adorable.

I'm calling this Skilling Sunday in the Disney house. Belle continues to work on her guitar.

Aurora works on that last, elusive point in her cooking skill.

Ben's back on the science research machine.

Edward's brushing up on his Social Networking skills.

And Bolt is . . . practicing his video-game abilities. I guess he got tired of everybody always beating him last chapter.

Butler-Dennis is practicing his . . . fainting skills. Um . . . yeah, I got nothin. >_< It's not like he doesn't know where his bed is or anything.

The lot has tons of butterfly spawners on it. Bambi usually ends up going around catching them all, giving his Loves the Outdoors trait something to enjoy. I love this shot of him, too, SUPER cute.

Another thing that Butler-Dennis slacks off on is the laundry, so Bambi helps out with that as well. Being Family Oriented he's able to get some enjoyment out of the chore.

Poor Ben accidentally irradiated a lady-bug and it took it's vengeance out on him. Luckily the only thing it did was make him nauseous. No Spider-Lady-Bug-Man for this legacy.

Is that a Cooking Skill plaque?! Why yes it is! That means Aurora has managed to max 3 skills and complete her Lifetime Wish! Point for the board!

And Edward is pimping it out in his Vice President suit! The A-Gen continues to do me proud! Just one more promotion for him before he can officially call himself the King of Hidden Springs!

Bambi rolled a wish to learn the Gardening skill, so I had him plant a couple seeds that Ben got for testing. I belieeeeeve it's a coffee bean and a peppermint sprig, but I could be wrong.

Speaking of Ben! He received an opportunity to attend an awards ceremony for his Debate Club participation. He was the first to arrive--having driven himself in his mother's car . . . -_-

I believe this fem-vampire is actually a school teacher, hence her loitering around outside of it. At least I hope that's why she's there, and she's not casing the joint for snacks . . .

The rest of the family arrived in due time to help Ben celebrate. For some reason they all took separate vehicles, hence the stack of taxis beneath Edward's limo. Also, mom was the only one moved to actually dress up for the event. Dad wore his work suit and his siblings just rocked their everyday-wear. XD

Another day off, another fundraiser. Aladdin is on site, that means this party is official. So put away that cellphone Edward. Get to schmoozin.

The girl on the right is actually Lily the Werewolf, freshly grown up to Young Adult. I'm not sure what vamp-girl did to scare her, but I'm pretty sure she actually wet herself from it. The next time I looked at her she was stinky and there was a mysterious puddle on the floor where she's currently standing . . .

LAWL pay-back's a beyotch.

That's a canvas of mushrooms indeed . . . but more importantly this was Aurora's 5th Masterpiece, which officially completed the Painting skill challenges! Woohooo! Another point for the board, go Aurora!

Aww, look who decided to crash the party! It's Bambi's girl, Jessica.

He was quick to track her down and get in a couple make-out sessions before she had to leave for her part-time job.

The house has a basement level. I haven't really done anything with it yet, except for placing all the current portraits down there for now. I'm thinking about making it a mausoleum, since there isn't much room outside for a graveyard. Walt and Ella will remain out by the fountain though. A fitting place of honor for our founders. :P

AURORA - What . . . what is this thing on my hand?

I really have NO idea. O_o I've seen mixing bowls and sculpting picks get stuck before, but I don't even know what that is, let alone where it came from . . .

Bambi caught the family a pet! This is the super rare/expensive rainbow butterfly (or whatever it's called). I had to keep it, and name it Jiminy. XD Because REASONS.

BAMBI - Do you like your job, Butler-Dennis? I mean . . . is this really what you want to be doing for the rest of your life? Looking after and cleaning up after my family?

BUTLER-DENNIS - Sometimes I wonder, Master Bambi. Sometimes I really wonder.

Hey! Don't scare off the help, Bambi! XD

Belle received this plaque for winning the lead-guitar position in her Music Club.

And Bolt, who's also in Debate for lack of anything better, got this little trophy for becoming the Captain of the Debate team. Bambi's in the Athletics club, but he hasn't gotten any awards--at least not yet.

See? I do let Ben do things besides play chess and work on his science skill. He's actually playing online with Tink, which I thought was adorable. Bambi provides a 'riveted' audience for his performance.

And then, a miracle happened. They all managed to sit down at the table AT THE SAME TIME. I didn't think that was even physically possible . . . . *dies of shock*

A rather fitting place to end the chapter, though. What could possibly be the last of the reign of Generation A, depending on who wins the heir poll . . . which is coming up next! Stay tuned for that, and good luck picking a favorite! I certainly don't envy you the decision . . . .
